Cherokee XJ (97 - 01) — Center Console Latch (LatchX variant)
Latch “X” is finally here!
This is our longest developed product to date. LatchX is a total rework of the latching mechanism for the center console that has plagued all XJs from 97+.
Instead of continuing to refine and rework the Chrysler design, we worked from the ground up, to add a pivot point in the latch and provide a nice feel while doing it. We have tried many different spring suppliers to just get it to feel like we’d want. Even going so far as to manufacture some in house.
LatchX is available in a variety of colors, and as always designed and manufactured here in the US.
